Client testimonials

After several years of major stresses in my life, the death of my mother and the birth of my last child, I felt like I'd lost control of my ability to deal with stress. I had been suffering from anxiety and panic attack for some time, at what felt to me like completely random moments.
Being someone who has quite pronounced trust issues and a previous negative experience with counselling, I looked for someone I felt I could trust and really open up to. In Andrew I found a true kindred spirit, someone who made me feel completely safe and valued. I found myself opening up in a way that really surprised me. Andrew provides such a warm and open space, you find yourself letting go of all the issues that have been bottled up inside and in letting go, you reach a place of deep inner calm. My sessions felt so relaxed, much like talking to an old friend. I never once felt led or forced in any one direction but somehow Andrew guided me through all the issues in my life that had brought me to this point in time and then guided me back out the other side a totally different person. One who can now manage the feelings of rising stress before they lead to the anxiety and stress of the past. I would wholeheartedly recommend Andrew to anyone, whatever the issue, in Andrew you will find somebody who really cares.

LIZ, HOMESCHOOLING MOTHER OF SIX

I found in Andrew a like soul who was attuned to my way of thinking and understood, without much ado, where I was and where I wanted to be. He provided me with a safe environment to share private thoughts and emotions and enabled me to look at myself from a different perspective, to let go of old self images and move on to re-imagine my world. Time well spent.
JOHN, COMPANY DIRECTOR

On a sightseeing trip, leaving a cathedral and following exit signs. We got stuck in a lobby with no exit doors available. I started to feel real gut wrenching panic in my stomach and brain. But it seemed to happen in slow motion. And I remembered my recent clean spaces coaching session about anxiety. So I spoke out loud about my internal experience and it started to ease. Then I gathered my resources and used them. By the time they rescued us I was as cool as a cucumber again. It was quite astonishing to notice how I coached myself away from panic to calm.
STEVE, FRIEND

Another knock back put me in a place that I didn’t want to be. So, after three nights of no sleep, I decided to do something about it. I’ve had so many counselling sessions in the past and wanted to try something different. How lucky was I to find Andrew. From my initial meeting I knew I wanted to try NLP. I actually looked forward to our meetings, as every session was different, although you can re visit anything if you’re not sure. Andrew, well, he has a warmth about him that makes you feel relaxed and at ease. I’m not going to go into NLP as it is adapted to you, but here I am a few months later holding my head up high and not looking back.
HELEN, TEACHING ASSISTANT

Whilst studying for my degree in the final stages I was unable to motivate myself to work on my dissertation in spite of having the knowledge at hand. I was actively self sabotaging and procrastinating with no idea why. Working through neurological levels with Andrew uncovered my unconscious reasons for doing so and upon examining and exploring them deeper my motivation returned and I successfully finished.
JOANNE, DEGREE STUDENT

Several years ago I suffered immense trauma that threw me into PTSD. As a therapist myself I understood the neurobiological reasons why the trauma kept coming to the fore leaving me stuck even though I had engaged in much therapy. I had an NLP session with Andrew in which we went through a timeline exercise. During this session I was able to bring into consciousness all the fear that I had felt at the time but had disassociated from. The experience enabled my brain to revisit the trauma and store the memory correctly thus enabling me to move forward.
